Thomson uses older refurbished ships in its fleet. Thomson Spirit partnered The Emerald in 2003 and Noordam joined in 2004 from Holland America as Thomson Celebration and Sunbird moves from Airtours Sun as Thomson Destiny after major refits in 2005.
